Kurofune – Shirayukihime, by Sunday Silence
”Yuki” means snow, and ”chan” is a suffix (used more frequently for the kids or the younger females).
She has become the second winning white thoroughbred (registered white) in JRA’s history yesterday, while her full brother White Vessel was the first-ever white thoroughbred winner earlier this year.
Their dam Shirayukihime (Blanche Neige in Japanese) is also a white mare.
Yukichan is surely getting lots of fans attention and followings here in Japan.
