Boarding School! -With an Equestrian Program!?

Well, my mom wants me to go to boarding school, and I didnt want to go to boarding school really, until I actually found out what it was like. Well, I found this one. Here's the website: http://www.oldfieldsschool.org/default.aspx
It's in Maryland and I live in Virginia. Not too far I guess..
But they have an equestrian program!!!! I thought that if I went to boarding school I would have to give up riding, but at this school I don't have to at all! They actually ENCOURAGE riding! (Sorry, if most schools encourage riding, I'm new to this whole boarding school thing!) I was so psyched. Man, I wish I could go tomorrow. We can even board our own horse there! Well, I lease a horse, but the owner said I can take her to camp and stuff like if I go to a summer horsey camp and they allow that sort of thing. Maybe she will let me bring her to this school!!! That would be AMAZING!!! And I would be away from my nagging parents as well. Ahh..

So, what do you guys think? Has anyone actually been to this school with the same pursuit as myself?

Can someone tell me what boarding school is like..? And do you get opportunities to go on facebook and talk on your cellphone outside of the classroom? And do you think I can visit the horses sometimes when I am not riding? How do you get time to work on schoolwork in your room and stuff? Do you get your own room? Ahhh!

PS. I have been riding English for 8 years, hunter/jumper, so this is basically awesome! hahaha. And you can do eventing as well, I'd like to learn XC~! Always wanted actually. I already know a bit of dressage, just the basics though.
If I get accepted into the fall 2009 program, I'll be in my Junior year of High school. I'll be 16.
I'm NOT afraid / mad that this school is an All-Girls school. I'm excited because I won't have to worry about BOYS and Homecoming and Prom and stuff like that!!! I can FOCUS on RIDING (and schoolwork).

If you owned a horse ranch and wanted to advertise riding lessons…?

would you advertise in your local community family magazine that you can pick up for free in every restaurant and store, it has articles and tips and tricks and in the back it has advertisements for different business and they have been around for 11 years and have a good rep, or, would you pay a bit more to advertise in a newer equestrian directory that encompasses everything horse and is also free and in stores and hotels and boot barns like the family magazine? Which is more picked up and utilized? Thanks!

If you can only afford one, go with the equestrian directory.

But: really you should build into your ad a way to track responses – such as a coupon code or intro offer of some kind. That way, you can test many different media sources and find several that work well for you.
